Nike Zoom LeBron VI

Nike Zoom LeBron VI
Overview:
Lebron James kicks out his 6th signature pair of Nike Zoom basketball shoes. The Nike Zoom LeBron VI is the lightest basketball shoe we’ve seen from LeBron. At 14.5 ounces this shoe is tough enough for off court play but light enough for action on the hardwood. If you’re looking for a true hardwood performance shoe, the Zoom LeBron VI might not be the shoe for you. It may be a little bulky for game day on hardwood, but its strength and durability make it perfect for practice and street play.
This Zoom LeBron VI is good for casual, street or hardwood play. The shell is tough and well stitched making it a long lasting shoe regardless of how hard you push them. Ventilation is below average with the only breathable area being the tongue. Beside breathability, the triple Zoom Air packets make the shoe very comfortable. If you’re looking for a shoe you can wear all day, on the street, or practicing on hardwood, the Zoom LeBron VI is for you. If you’re a high performance player looking for game day shoes, you may want to steer away from the Zoom LeBron Six.
Style/Design:
LeBron and Ken Link worked together to come up with the design for the Zoom LeBron VI. With their minds together, they came up with a classic styled shoe with a standard lacing system. They included a lower-mid sole wrap for extra support but it seems that this may be for aesthetics rather than functionality. If they would have stripped this from the Zoom LeBron VI, they could have cut an ounce or two from the total weight. Zoom Air units are doubled-up in the heel of the shoe and they have included another in the mid-sole. Grips are a hybrid design for traction on the street and the court. Soft grips mean high traction on hardwood but if you primarily use these shoes on the street you may see faster grip wear than you bargained for. As far as style goes, the Zoom LeBron VI has a classic look with today’s technology. The most popular color combination is the red, black and white as seen displayed in this review.
Fit:
The LeBron six runs true to size. So you can have peace of mind knowing that if you order online, it’s going to fit. Some have mentioned they are slightly wider than average but we suggest ordering your normal size.
Price:
Well, the price of the Zoom LeBron VI may be a sore point for some of us. The suggested retail price starts at $150.00. But you can get it online at Eastbay or Finish Line for around $139.00. We realize that here at cheap-basketball-shoes.com we try to write about good deals on great basketball shoes, but the hype surrounding the Zoom LeBron VI was just too big to not review it.
