Continuing the Shox legacy, the Nike Shox Slam Team Basketball Shoe is one of the best shoes on the market. With ten different colors and a recently reduced price, your entire team can afford to buy Shox Slam TB for relatively cheap. These shoes are commonly worn for game time but again, with the reduced price, you may consider grabbing a pair for practice or even casual wear.

Style/Design:
The suspension in the back of the shoe is what makes the Nike Shox famous. The Shox Slam TB carries on this look and added 10 different common team colors. Although the original Nike Shox shoes were released in 2000; the style, technology and hype and have yet to be surpassed by any other Nike shoe (with a possible exception being the Nike Hyperdunk).

The Nike Shox Slam TB shoes have a combination of technologies that make them so popular. They have a durable synthetic leather upper that surrounds the inner sleeve for a supportive ride. Also, the Shox use another common Nike technology, a Phylon midsole combined with a Zoom Air forefoot. Beneath the Shox, you’ll find a TPU plate that locks down the heal. One downside of the Shox Slam TB is that the weight is 16.4 ounces. At this weight, they are on the heavy end of Nike’s performance basketball shoes. However, unless you an Olympian, these few extra ounces are somewhat negligible. Ask any Shox owner, and they will tell you that the shoes ‘feel’ light. Bottom line is there has been a lot of technological investment in these shoes and it works.

Fit:
The Nike Shox Slam TB shoes are a true fit size. They are perfectly snug and keep you feeling like your attached to the ground no matter what angle you cut at. For the average foot these shoes are so comfortable and fit so well that many people wear these shoes casually.

Price:
Look around because prices are ranging from $100 to $79. At the time this review was published, Eastbay has the lowest price. Now we know that $79 isn’t necessarily a pair cheap basketball shoes; but, if you consider how much technology is in these shoes, it’s as close to what the pros wear as you can get.
